Posting a job on Indeed is very easy. Here are some guidelines on how to do it:
First, you need to have an account with Indeed. Once you have signed up, just log in on the website. Click on Employers/Post Job at the top-right corner of the page.
Once you’re in, click on ‘Posted on Indeed’ and it will forward you to the job posting creation.
You can either start from scratch, or if you already have a template made for your job posting, you can also select it here.
For now, let us select ‘Start from scratch’. You now need to populate the information for the job posting. You need to select which country you want the candidate from, the language, company name, role in the hiring process, and job title of the position offered. Basically, you just have to fill in the information regarding the job you are offering to people on this page.
For the compensation details page, you need to enter how much you are offering to the applicants. You can also put in incentives, commissions, or anything regarding the compensation of the accepted applicants.
For the job description, you might want to give more specific instructions and information regarding the position and the work you are offering. The more specific your posting is, the more funneled your applicants will be.
You can also upload a pdf or doc file to make it easier rather than typing everything.
Next is the application settings where you can set the receiving settings of the application, how you will receive it, and other settings you can tick for the posting.
The customized pre-screening page is where you can filter the applicants to specific qualifications. You just have to set this depending on your preference.
Now that you have set the specifics of the job posting, you can preview it before posting it live on the website.
The next page will ask you if you want to sponsor your job. If you want to have many applications, it is advised to do so. But if not, do not sponsor the job for the meantime.
Once done, it will show on your dashboard together with your other job postings. You can also access the quick edit at the right side of the job posting. You can also access the data of the posting regarding how many applied through Indeed.
