Linkedin is known to be one of the most credible sources of information about a person’s professional affiliations, background, and accomplishments. It is regarded as the social media for professionals. But the use of Linkedin is not limited to just that; it is also used as a platform for job postings and opportunities.

  • Job Title – choose the position you want to fill; it is vital to choose the closest possible or the most accurate position you need for your business or company
  • Company – choose the name of the company that is hiring
  • Job Location – it is also important to display the location of the company to filter the applicants depending on geographical availability 
  • Employment Type – this is where you put if the position is full-time, part-time, contractual, or other type of employment

Once you are done with the basic information of the Job posting, then comes the description on the next page. You need to fill in the ‘Job Details’ to give more information about the posting, then ‘Add Skills’ to specify the skills needed for the job.

The requirements on the screening question furthers the specification of what you are looking for in a candidate. You can use this to filter the applicants more to a specific qualification/s that you are looking for.

Now that you have finished  your job posting, the final step is choosing for Paid Promotion or Free Posting. Of course, paid promotion will be more visible to people and has more chances of acquiring the right candidate for the job, yet you still can opt for using the free posting if you are on a budget.
