The immigration lawyer who founded Laborless, Roman Zelichenko, points out the pink elephant in the room – immigration firms have certain volatility when it comes to mergers and startup companies. Once a company merges or gets acquired by a bigger company, the immigration firm can easily be dropped regardless of the quality of its performance. This may be an uncomfortable truth but a reality, nevertheless. Such truth must be faced and prepared for by immigration firms. Similar to the unpredictability of the current times, immigration firms must have a solid plan in place by religiously running risk assessments regularly. As Zelichenko mentioned, “You cannot rest on your laurels, you have to continue to build your brand, build your sales funnel, maybe for the rainy day, right?”
